FeedBurner, Why Should I?

without comments

Feedburner is a RSS Feed service that allows you to track subscribers, and more awesome features. After I registered Shaibanii.com’s feed, I thought to myself, I MUST share this awesome-ness :-D

Although you’ve got your blog’s RSS feed, that isn’t enough. You can use it if you want, but you’re missing out on some great features! With Feeburner you can track your subscribers, these are the people that keep coming back for more! :-D Feedburner makes it easier for your readers to subscibe to your feed via other emails, eg. My Yahoo!. Also, you can notify other services or people that you’ve posted something new (Pings). Another thing, you can change your feed without losing subscribers.

There are many other features and add-ons that if you use, you won’t regret it. So ‘How do I do it?‘. Simple, head over to Feedburner.com and register, its pretty much self-explanatory. I don’t know if this will work with Cutenews or whatever, but it definitely works with WordPress, Blogger, MySpace, and more services. :-)

Getting Rid of Vista Antivirus (Malware)

with 2 comments

I’ve recently had a trojan and a malware situation, which simply, kept popping up this fake anti-virus called ‘Vista Antivirus 2008′, it can also be called ‘XP Antivirus 2008′. It can get really annoying since it keeps popping up and you can’t close it using the close button, don’t worry, the viruses it detects are 100% FAKE!

Luckily, I got rid of it. You don’t ALWAYS have to lose all your data, you can just remove some things by following a few simple steps. I looked around and I found a guide that shows you how to get rid of it. The site — BleepingComputer, also has other guides on how to remove malware, viruses, trojans etc. So don’t always make formatting the #1 way to get rid of nasty computer problems. :-)
